Financial Therapy Rates

We are a Private Pay Practice.

We do not bill insurance directly.
Many clients use out-of-network mental health benefits for partial reimbursement.

Payment & Insurance Questions

  • I don’t bill insurance directly because coverage can be unpredictable, and many clients are surprised by large bills even after claims are submitted.

Operating as a private pay practice helps protect your privacy, gives you more control over your health records, and allows me to focus fully on providing high-quality, personalized care—rather than navigating insurance restrictions.

  • If your insurance includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement.

To make this easier, I’ve partnered with Thrizer. Thrizer can help you check your out-of-network benefits and handle claim submission and follow-up on your behalf, so you don’t have to deal with insurance paperwork or phone calls.

  • Absolutely!

You can use the benefits checker on this page to quickly see whether you may have out-of-network coverage and estimate potential reimbursement.

This tool is provided through Thrizer and is designed to give you clarity before scheduling.

  • We are a private pay therapy practice, so fees are paid in full at the time of service.

Payments are securely processed through SimplePractice using a card on file. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and HSA/FSA cards.

To protect your privacy, we do not use apps like Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle, as they are not HIPAA-compliant. Your privacy matters.

  • Thrizer handles your claim submission and follow ups so you dont have to. Reimbursements get directly deposited into your bank account.

  • Don’t let the rates discourage you from reaching out. Group therapy, educational offerings, and free resources may still be very helpful.

If individual therapy isn’t the right financial fit, I’m also happy to help connect you with other therapists or resources that may better match your situation.

SAVE TIME & MONEY

Financial Therapy Vs Other Professions

  • Many people cycle through attorneys, advisors, or coaches—when the real issue is emotional and/or relational.

  • Financial therapy blends mental health and money insight to support lasting change.

  • It can lead to fewer repeat visits, clearer decisions, and better results—for clients and their financial team.
