You Don’t Have to Figure This Out Alone

Money is one of the most important parts of life, yet one of the least talked about.

Person sitting alone looking stressed and thoughtful about financial challenges and money stress.

Many people quietly carry:

  • Shame or embarrassment

  • Financial stress

  • Pressure to “have it together.”

  • Guilt that they should doing more

  • Relationships tension

  • Feeling stuck or uncertain about the future

When these struggles stay private, they feel heavier.

Let’s be honest… financial stress is not always visible from the outside.

Group therapy helps people realize they are not the only one navigating this.

Eric Vicens, licensed therapist and certified financial therapist serving Oak Park, Chicago, and Illinois.

Hi! I’m Eric.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Financial Therapist™ who specializes in helping parents navigate the emotional side of money.

What’s wonderful about group therapy is that moment when you realize you’re not alone. We can break a stigma and begin learning from and support one another.

Financial therapy groups often blend financial literacy education with real emotional support from our peers.

My role is to create a safe, practical, and supportive group experience where members can learn, reflect, and grow.

With the heart of a teacher and the ears of a therapist, you can expect compassionate support and practical guidance.
